Zippy’s Adventures developed around our pet rabbit, Zippy. Every morning while I would make Whitney breakfast (the boys are already out the door), she would ask, “What’s Zippy going to do while I’m at school?”.
At first, I would just say his typical things like play, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, sleep some more, etc.
But after a while of her asking, it turned into something fun for me. She would ask, “What’s Zippy going to do today mom?”, and I couldn’t resist…
“Zippy’s going to take driving lessons today.”
“WHAT!!!” Whitney would scream.
Or,
“Zippy’s riding a bus to see the Grand Canyon” or “Zippy’s taking piano lessons today”…
And the whole concept took off from there.
Every day she would jokingly ask,
“What’s Zippy going to do today?”
And she would very eagerly await my playful response…
“Zippy’s going to go scuba diving.”
Each story would end up with him eating something, as rabbits tend to do. And each story would end up with me playfully saying,
“Oh Zippy, you’re a funny bunny!”
…as I do at home.
After a while of doing this, Whitney and I decided it would be really fun to make our own Zippy stories, which led to the videos you see as Zippy’s Adventures. The boys chip in with the ideas as well and I have written pages down of future videos I need to make. We all have so much fun making these playful videos about our little Zippy, who we all love and adore so much! Hope you enjoy the videos as much as we enjoy making them.
